PRIVATE SEAMANSHIP CERTIFICATION & VACATION CRUISE This very popular option combines learning with a week-long vacation cruise in the San Juan Islands on one of our luxury charter yachts. Our skilled instructor will give you personalized instruction on everything you need to know to become a competent skipper. You can achieve San Juan Yachting's Seamanship Certification at your own pace. When you and your instructor feel confident in your level of skill, you may put your instructor ashore and continue with your vacation cruise in the islands. Or if you prefer, enhance your skills with the instructor for the full week. We can also teach on your own boat, if you wish. Tuition: Charter cost and $225/day for your private instructor, plus his/her food and ferry ticket back to Bellingham (if applicable). |
