LEARN-N-CRUISE
This unique experience combines comprehensive training
with a wonderful cruise out in the San Juan Islands. And as a special
highlight, you'll spend two nights and a full day in Victoria, BC. This
course is designed for the novice or those with limited boating
experience who would enjoy a more relaxed pace of learning along with a
real taste of what it's like to explore and enjoy the islands in the
luxury of a true motoryacht. You'll learn all the essential skills:
boat systems/operation, navigation, cruise/fuel planning, anchoring and
boater safety along with hands-on yacht handling. You'll get lots of
practice in close quarters at harbor and marina docks and out in the
open water. From the deck of your yacht you'll marvel at our
spectacular Northwest scenery. And you'll visit some of the most
idyllic ports, resorts and secluded coves in the world!
Tuition: $1,300/person, based
on double occupancy. Yachts over 45': $1,600/person, based on double
occupancy. Includes linens, towels and all meals aboard (with 4 nights
free for dining ashore). Four person minimum; limited to fours
students. Required to enter Canada: Your passport or a photo ID plus
certified copy of your birth certificate.
